The Information of Mary Cobbs< no role > taken before
this 21st day of June 1773.

Who being upon Oath says that she is Servant to Alexander Giddiss< no role >
Esqr . Petty France next door to Mr Robt.. Brail< no role > fords Says that on
Tuesday evening last about 6 o Clock she was coming down her Masters
Stair form the Garrett that she heard a Womans Voice seemingly
in distress crying out "I cant" that she then went out to the said
Brailfords House and knocked twice at the door and asked two men
who looked out of the Window to Speak with the Maid Says that John
Leonard
< no role > now present was one who looked out of the Window as
aforesaid Says they answered the maid was gone out this In
formant asked them what woman they had got in the House
they answered [..] there was a Drunken Woman
in the house who was Spewing upon the Floor, this Informant
asked what crying that was which the said two men the
Shirt down the Widow and bid her go about her business,d [..]
soon after She saw Miss Boss at a Gate leading from Brailsford's
house to the Park desiring to be Lett out with her Cloaths loose
about her she appeared much confused and troubled and repeatedly
cried out she had been ruin'd
