The information of Sarah Creighton< no role > Spinster taken
on Oath before us two of his Majesty's Justices of the
Peace in and for the said County the 21stday of
June in the year of our Lord 1773

Who saith that she has for about Six Weeks past boarded and
Lodged with Miss Mortimore< no role > of Old Gravel Lane Milliner that
in the Night of Wednesday the 16th. day of June instant that dwelling
House of the said Miss Mortimore< no role > was broke open and a great
Quantity of Goods and Things Stolen therefrom amongst
which was a black Silk Cloak four Gowns and some other
things her propertysaith that a little before day she was
awoke by a noise below stairs upon which the maid and Miss
Mortimore
< no role > got out of Bed and looked out of the Window but
could see no person saith that about half an hour after she
again heard a noise below Stairs upon which she this informant
and the said Miss Mortimore< no role > get out of Bed and Rappd at
the window upon seeing two men who seemed to have
round hats and blue Jacketts whereupon someother men
who were at the Bed room Door called out and said if they
did not open the Door they would blow their Brains out
upon which she this informant went to the room Door and said
if they would spare their lives they might have every thing
they had upon which one of the Men who stood at the Door
said well thenDam you open the Door and there upon this
informantopenedopened the Door whereupon they told this
informant and Miss Mortimore< no role > to go into bed and cover themselves
upon which they didsaith that she took particular Notice of
one of the men now present who saith his name is Thomas Grear< no role > This name instance is in set 3660.
That she well remmebers to have seen the said Thomas Grear< no role >
when she open'd the Doorandsaw him come up stairs and saw
