Middlesex
to wit
The Information of
James Tillier< no role >
taken
before me this 31st. day of March 1773
Who being upon Oath says that in the Evening of last Shrove
Sunday his Barn at Harmsworth
in Middlesex
containing a
Quantity of Barley was wilfully set on fire and burnt down together
with part of the said Barley, that on the said Sunday a
person now present who calls himself James Witnell applied
as a Pauper to the Vestry of the said Parish of Harmsworth
for
them to provide a House for him to live in that the Vestry agreed
to let him and his family live in a Room in one of the plans houses
in the said Parish and this Informant told the said James
Witnell< no role >
which was the Room appointed for him, that the said
James Witnell replied he would not live in that Room and
that this Informant was spiteful to him and that he would
be as spiteful to this Informant or that he would seek his
Revenge or Words to that Effect, and this Informant says
that he does suspect that the said James Witnell< no role >
did feloniously
set fire to his said Barn, and further that he does verily believe
the said James Witnell< no role >
will do or cause to be done some bodily
harm to him this Informant
Sworn before me
