Fat in a Sack now prepared & offered it for Sale
& upon on this Informants examissing it [..] he found it
to be the Cault and Kidney Fat Sheep and this
Informant having received Information from Mr
Castledine a Butcher that Six Sheep of his which
were at pastine had been killed and the Cawl
& Kidney Fat had been taken away Upon which
this Informant stopped the said James Duft< no role >
and the Sack with the Fat in it on Suspicion that
he might be the persons who had killed the said
Six Sheep of Mr Castledines and had him
taken into Custody by a Constable
But this Informant saith that the saidJust
Cawl & Kidney Fat was act in piecesto prevent
as [..] he apprehend to prevent a discovery
from howmany Sheep the said Fat was taken
and in what manner the said Sheep were killed
at the saidto get the said Fat

And this Informant further saith that on
the Saturday before being the tenth Day of October
about Eight o Clock in the Evening the said James
Duft
< no role > brought to his Master Shop a Quantity
of Fat in a Canvas Bag which Weighedfifty
Nine [..] pounds and which was the Kidney & Cawl
Fat of Sheep which was but into [..] which
this Informant bought and paid to the said
James Duft< no role > for the same Twenty Shillings
this Informant saith that he hath several different
times see the said James Duft< no role > selling Fat
at his Master a Shop

And this Informant John Tinby for himself
saith that his another Servant to Mr Rainforth
Fallow
< no role > Chandler in Oxford Street and that he hath
seen the said James Duft< no role > [..] ow present bring
Quantity of Caul & Kidney Fat of Sheep at
[..] in pieces - at several different times for there
two Months past and always Used to bring it in
Sacks or Cloths..between Eight & Nine o Clock
