The Information of Samuel Pritchard< no role > of
Oxford Street in the Parish of Saint George
Hanover Square Stable Keeper taken before
me this 9th. day of February 1772

Who being upon Oath Says that in the latter End of August last or
the Beginning of September James Bolland< no role > (who as this Informant has been
told is now a Prisoner in the Poultry Compter) came to his house & observing
that both this Informant and himself wanted Money proposed that Robert
Storer
< no role > who was this Informant's Clerk should copy over some Bills of Exchange
which the Said James Bolland< no role > produced in his own Hand writing as Copies for
the Said Bills of Exchange to be drawn from, some of which Copies are now produced that the Said James Bolland< no role >
Said he could as well get Bills for £400 discounted at his Banker's as
for £100 and that this Informant might have the Use of part of the Money,
that the said Robert Storer< no role > accordingly wrote a Bill of Exchange now
produced purporting to be the Bill of Exchange of William Perryn< no role > payable
on Mr. St. Pritchard Oxford Street London for fifty two pounds ten Shillings
payable to Lot Bosomworth Esq. or Order two Months after date and dated Dunstable
August 19th. 1771, that this Informant [..] accepted the said Bill of
Exchange and the said James Bolland< no role > took it away, that before the above
Transaction was completed this Informant objected greatly to the doing of
it as he was afraid it was not justifiable, that the Said James Bolland< no role >
told this Informant that there was no harm in it and that he would
indemnify this Informant, that accordingly the Said James Bolland< no role > either
at the Time abovementioned or Soon afterwards gave this Informant an
Indemnification now produced from all Costs and Damages for accepting
the Said Bill of Exchange and three others amounting in the whole
to three hundred and twenty five pounds which said three other Bills
of Exchange were either at the Time abovementioned or about that Time
