James Bolland< no role > Case of Shire lane in the County of Middx the Deft
maketh Oath and saith that he now is and for several days
last Past hath been ill & Confined to his Bedforwith sickness and is
unable to give any directions concerning his defence And
this Dependant saith that he is informed that the Bills
of Indictments in the above prosecutions were only
found Yesterday by the Grand Nery for Middlesex agt.
this Deponent, and that he never has been Examined
and Committed on the said Charges in the said Indictments
Contained and therefore on Account of the Shortness of
the time is unable to Prepare for his defence and to
Subpana his Witnesses, several of whom he apprehends
and Verily believes will be material for his Defence
and wch. witnesses he beleives he shall have an Opportunity
of producing on his Defence at the next Sessions
