The Information of John Jonce< no role >
taken before [..] Us two of his Majestys Justices
of the Peace for the said County

Who being upon Oath saith that [..] on
Thursday the 19th. Day of July last abt. 6 o'Clockinthe
Morning he was called out of his Bed by her Brother in
Law Wm. Brent & when to let him in he told [..] him
Informentthat he had got a Good Prize & Produced
a Bundle in which was about ten£100 Bank
Notre and about 150 Lui lashsome five Shilling &
three Penny Pieces a great Number of Crown & half
Crown Pieces a Metal Watch a Gold Cave of a Watch
some Earrings & two Silver Table Spoons And further saith
that he told him that he got them from aperfumers Shop. in Leicester Fields
And he same Morning he and Wm. Brent went into Monmonth
Street the left hand Corner Shop & there bought a Suit of
Morning each for which they gave five Gua. & they went to
Middle Row & bot. 6 Shirtat 10s. & 6d a Piece some Black
Silk Stockings & then went in to Holborn & bot. a Half each
And further saith that Wm. Brent went to Inform his
Landford Mr. Maddison that he was going into the Country
& Brent met Jones at his House at Hackney and
Drest themselves in the New Cloaths and about two o'Clock
in the afternoon set out from the General Wolfe in Oxford
Road in a Post Chaise & Pair & Went to the Kings Arms
at Uxbridgeand from thence Went to Amersham to the
Inn which he believes to be the Swan & stayod these all
Night & in the Morning Changed a £50Note & deced a
Draft upon Child & Co. for £12..14 & the test in CashAnd
then Went to the George at Aylesbury & Changed a £20 Note
for which they Reced Cash and then went to Thame to the
Post Office & there Changed a £100 Note & Peced a £30 Note
& 3£10 Notes & the Rest in Cashand from thence
to Oxford to the Crosses & there Changed a £100 Note
& Raced two or three Drafts One of which Draft were Burnt
by the Order of Saunders the Jew From Oxford they
