Jew that he had the Notes in his Possession & would
sell them but the Jew sayd that he could not buy then
himself but would find a person who wouldbuy She
& he agreed with him for about £65 for each £100
Note & the Jew sayd that he would acquaint him further
And this Informant & the Jew went down to Iron Gate
several time & to sell the Notes but could not and about
a fortnight after the Box was brought back from Kent
the Jew told him that the Person would not give him any more
than 300 Guineas for the £619 of Bank Notes and thisInform
told him that they were his Brothers Property & that he
would Inform his Brother what had been Offered which he
did and his Brother agreed to take 300 Guineas and out
of which the Jew was to have £15 for Disposing of
them and upon this Agreement this Informant and
the Jew went down to Iron Gate near the Tower and
there Sold the Notes for 300 Guineas to a Jew whose
Name this Informant does not know and this Informant
gave [..] Lyon Alexander< no role > £15..& 6s. And saith that
his Brother in Law Wm. Brent came the Next Day to
this Informants House in East Street and he Paid him
the Money and further saith that soon after the
last mentioned Transaction he Sold to the Jew
Lyon Alexander< no role > a Pair of Earrings a Gold Watch Case
a Metal Watch and a Girdle Buokle for all which
he thinks he Received about £15 And this Informt
further saith that Brent told him the Night
he Broke into Cartiers House he at first Broke
into a House at the Next Door but finding nothing
he Broke into Cartions And further saith
that abt. a Month before this Informt was apprehended
Wm. Brent in the Presence of Daniel Brent, gave
this Informant, a Ten Cannerter full of Crowns & half
Crowns for his Wife's private Use and & this Inform
about two Hundred pounds in cask & [..] Years and to his Brother
Darrieca Fifty pounds in a £ 30 Hank No [..] and
the there in Cashg and at the same Time left
with this Informant Ten Guineas for each of his
