The Information of James Morris< no role >
Domestic Servant of Thos. LeMarr< no role > Esqr .
of Bedford Row
taken before me One of his Majestys Justices
of the Peace for the said County

Who being upon Oath saith that between the
hours of 8 & 9 last Night two Persons now
present who call themselves Richard Bailey< no role > and
James Attaway< no role > together with a Lesser Man
than the said two knocked at his Masters Door
And upon this Informants Opening the Door the
Setter now produced was delivered to him and he
told them that Mr. Le Man was not at home
Upon which the said three Men Rushed in upon
him and the said Richard Bailey< no role > stabled him
with a hanger now produced in his Belly and then
they all three Seized him and bound him with a Cord now
produced & Gagged him & took him into the
Hitchen & made him light a Candler and then they
Carried him to a Dark Hole under the Yard and
fastened the Door which this Informant aftwd.
Broke Open and got into the Yard and made an
Alarm And this Informant further saith that
at the time he was Stabled & Gagged as aforesaid
the Plate Now Produced was safe in a Chest in the
Pantry where this Informant Usually Says
Except One pair of the Candlesticks two Small
Muggs a Pair of Salt two Salt Spoons & a Silver
Box for a Wax Taper< no role > which were taken out for his Masters
Use And that after he got at Liberty he found
the said Chest Broke Open and all the plate
was gone
