The Information of James Morris< no role >
Domestic Servant of Thos. Le Mar< no role > Esqr . of
Bedford Row & Philip Parker< no role > taken before the two of his
Majestys Justices of the Peace for the said
County.

Who being upon Oath [..] and first this
Informant James Morris< no role > for himself saith
that on the 4th. Day of May between 8 & 9 o Clock
in the Evening when it was Dusk two Persons
now present who call themselves Jas. Attaway
and Richard Bailey< no role > made the Assault upon
him and Robbed his Master of the Plate as
Mentioned in the preceeding Information And
this Informant further saith that on that Night
he had fastened the back Door of his Masters
House & Bolted it and that the said James
Attaway
< no role > & Richard Bailey< no role > went out at the
Back Door and saith that at that time it
was so Dark he could not Distinguish One
Mans face from another And this Informant
Philip Parker< no role > for himself saith that he
heard the first outery of James Morris< no role > of Murder
& Thieves and it was not more than a Minute
before he was in the Coach house belonging to
Mr. Le Mar where the said Richard Bailey< no role >
was apprehended and saith that at that time
it was so Dark that One Mans face
could not be Distinguished from another
And this Informant further saith that he got
upon the Wall between the Houses of Mr. Le Mar
& one Mr. Duane & called for alight which was
brought him and then he saw in Mr. Duane's
Yard a Pistol & a Hanger & a Hatt which he
delivered to Samuel Clley Gent. High Constable
