Memorandum it is this 7th: day of December 1762 Agreed between the
MasterandWardens and Comonalty of the Worshipful Company of Carpenters London of
the One part and Thoms. Bowlby< no role > of the parish of All hallowes London wall London Leather
Cutter and Currier of the other part as follows. Vizt:

The sd. Master Wardens and Comonalty for themselves and their Successors do here by agree to
Lett to the said Thomas Bowlby< no role > All that Messuage or Tenemt. with the Appurtenances
Situate in the Fish of Allhallows London wall afore said as the sauce was late in the
Possession of William Webster< no role > and now of him the sd. Thomas Bowlby< no role > To hold unto the
sd. Thomas Bowlby< no role > his Extors Admors and Assigns from Xtmas now next ensuing the
date here of for and during and unto the full End and Term of three years and an half
from thence next ensuing and fully to be Compleat and Ended At and under the Yearly
Rent or Sum of Six Pounds Clear of the Land tax and all Parliamentary taxes and
other Deductions what so ever by four equal Quarterly Payments in the Year the first
payment thereof to begin and to be made on Lady day now next ensuing And the sd.
T.W. Thomas Bowlby< no role > for himsefl his Extors and Admors doth here by agree to take the sd. Premises of the sd. Comany upon the
above mentioned Terms and Conditions and to pay the sd. Rent of Six Pounds
accordingly and to keep the Premises in good and tenantable Repair In Testimony
and Confirmation there of the sd. Thos. Bowlby< no role > hath paid to Mr. Warden Pay One
Shilling in part of the first Quarters Rent As Witness his hand the day and Year
first above written
