Court Day April 5th. 1757

Memrdum That it was this 5th. day of April 1757. Agreed between The Worship full
Company of Carpenters London of the One part And Henry Muilman< no role > of London Merchant
for and in the hands and on the part and behalfe of Sr. John Buckworth< no role > Barrt . of the other Part Where as the
said Henry Muilman< no role > Appeared this day on the part and behalfe and by the desire of the said Sr.
John Buckworth< no role > to Make Proposalls for Renewing his Lease for free Liberty and Lease of holding
and Enjoying all and every the Light and Lights as they are now made or here after may be altered so
that they Exceed not above Four in Number through the back parts Westward of the Messnage or Tenement in
the Tenure or Occupation of the said Sr. John Buckworth< no role > his Under tenants or assignes situate
and being in Winchester Street in the parish of all hallowes on the Wall London looking in to the
Gardens be longing to Carpenters hall late in the Occupation of James Fordham< no role > deced & now of
Thomas Head< no role > or his Under tenants And where as the sd. Company have Agreed to the sd. Proposalls
& there upon have Agreed and Do here by Agree to grant a Lease to the said Sn. John Buckworth< no role >
(on his paying the Sume of Fifty Pounds as a Fine for the Same) for free Liberty and Lease of
holding and Enjoying all and every the Light and Lights as they are now made or hereafter
may be altered so that they Exceed not above four in Number through the back parts of the
Messnage or Tenement in the Tenure or Occupation of the said Sr. John Buckworth< no role > his
under tenants or Assignes Situate and being in Winchester Street in the parish of All Hallowes
on the Wall London looking into the Gardens belonging to Carpenter's hall late in the Occupation
of James Fordham< no role > deced and now of Thomas as Head or his Under tenants To hold the Same
into the said Sr. John Buckworth< no role > for the Term of Thirty five Yeares from the Feast day of the
Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary which will be in the Year of our Lord One thousand
Seven hundred and Fifty Eight, Att the Yearly Rent of Twenty Shillings of law full Money of
Great Britaine, the first payment to be made on the Feast day of the annunciation of the blessed Virgin
Mary in the Year of our Lord one thousand Seven hundred and Fifty Nine & so Yearly and every Year
during the said Term of Thirty five Yeares And the said Henry Muilman< no role > doth here by Agree on the part
and behalfe of the said Sr. John Buckworth< no role > , And in his Name to pay the said Sume of Fifty Pounds
And also Accept and Take a Lease from the said Company as abovementioned, And to pay the sd. Yearly
Rent or Sume of Twenty Shillings at the tims mentoined and reserved for Payment there of
And also to Execute a Counter part of such Lease with such usuall Covenants as in the said Company
Leases And to Confirm the said Agreement the said Henry Muilman< no role > hath in the Name and on the
part and behalfe of the said Sr. John Buckworth< no role > paid the Sume of One Shilling in part of the first
Yeares Rent Witness his hand the day and year first above written
