Memorandum it is this 1st: day of Febry 1763 Agreed between the Master
Wardens Comonalty of the Worshipful Company of Carpenters London of the One part
And George Slater< no role > of- Turville Street in of the Parish of St. Matthew Bethnal Green Weaver of the other
part as folls. Vizt.

The said Master Wardens Comonalty for themselves and their Succors Do Agree to
let by Lease and the sd. George Slater< no role > for himself his Extors & Admors Doth Agree to take
by Lease All that Messuage or Tenement with the Appurts Situate & Standing in the
Passage leading to Fox and Hounds Court in Bishopgate Street and late in the Possesion
of Nathan Cooper< no role > To hold the same from Lady day next for Seven Years from thence next
ensuing & fully to be Compleat and ended At and under the Year by Rent of Eight
Pounds payable Quarterly And the said Company Agree to do the following Repairs Vizt. to paint
& Whitewash the House, to mind the Windows, & Repair the Floors where wanting & to
put it in to reasonable Tenantable Repair And the said George Slater< no role > doth Agree
to Execute to the Counter part of a Leaseof the Leaseof the sd. Premises upon the above Mentioned Terms when
there unto Required in which Lease is to be inserted all the Covenants Usually confirmed
in the Companys Lease to their Tenant & All Other Reasonable Covenants what so ever
