Memorandum it is this Seventh day of February 1758 Agreed between
the Master Wardens and Comonally of the Worshipfull Company of Carpenters-
London of the one part And John Nicoll< no role > of the Bank Gentleman of the other part
in manner following (that is to say) the said Company do hereby Agree to Lett to
the said John Nicoll< no role > All that Messuage or Tenement with the Appurts there to
belonging situate in Carpenters buildings London afore said now or late in the
Occupation of Mrs. Francis or her under tenant To hold to the said John Nicoll< no role > his Exors Admore
and Assigns from Lady day next ensuing the date hereof for and during and into
the full End and Term of three Years from thence next Ensuing and fully to be
Compleat and Ended At and under the Yearly Rent of Sixteen pounds payable
Quarterly by Four Equal payments the first payment to begin and be made on
the Feast day of the Nativity of Saint John the Baptist next after the Comencement
of the said Term of three Years hereby demised the House to be white washed and the
windows made good at the Companys Expence And the said John Nicoll< no role > doth
hereby Agree to take the said premises of the said Company upon the above
mentioned Terms and Conditions and will pay the said Rent of Sixteen pounds
accordingly and in Testimony and Confirmation there of the said John Nicoll< no role >
hath paid to Mr. Warden Alingham One Shilling in part of the first Quarters
Rent Witness his Hand the day and Year above mentioned.
