deced maketh oath that many years ago her said late husband rented
a house in Crown Court in the parish of Saint Botolph without
Aligate in the said County & was charged to & paid Kings Taxes
for the same & by means there of gained a legal Settlement there
& did not afterwards do any Act to gain another Settlement That
She this Depont Since his death hath not done any Act to gain a
Settlement for herself That She hath a Daughter name Mary
Mumford
< no role > by her said late husband who lived with this Deponent
& her sd husband in Crown Court as part of their Family and
who was river bound Apprentice nor ever lived as a hired Servant
for a year or was ever married nor who ever did any act to
gain a Settlement in her own right to this Deponts knowledge or belief

above named Elizabeth Mumford< no role > maketh oath that She this Depont
is lawfully Settled in right of her late Father John Mumford< no role > deced
in the parish of St Botolph without Aldgate in the sd County She this
Depont never having been as Apprentice nor lived as a hired Servant
for a year nor ever been Marked nor done any Act to gain a Settlemt
in her own Right That She hath two children namely Mary Russell< no role >
aged eleven years & two months & James Russell< no role > aged two years
& Six weeks both of whom are Bastard & iIlegitimate & born in the
parish of St John Wapping in the sd County & have done no Act to
gain a Settlement in their own right & that one James Russell< no role >
now or late of Swan Alley in the sd parish of St. Botolph without
Aldgate Labourer is the father of the said Children
