in the parish of Horfar in the Shire of Angus in Scotland
That he this Deponent never was bound an Apprentice nor
ever lived as a hired Servant for a year in that part of Great
Britain Called England nor ever did any Act to his
knowledge or belief to gain a Settlement for himself
in any part of England.

house of Ten pounds a year or upwards or Served any parish
office or paid any Poors Rates or kings Taxes or done any
act to gain a Settlement Subsequent to his Apprenticeship
