Nightingale
< no role > who is lately gone from her to amerion maketh
oath that her said husband has informed her & which She believes
to be true that many years ago & when a Singleman he was hired
lived as a hired Servant by the year with John Furness< no role > of old
Ford in the Parish of Frome in the County of Somersetat farmer
certain wages & continued in Such Service for a year & by means
thereof gained a legal settlement there That to this Deponents
knowledge or belief her said husband since such his servitude
has not lived as a hired servant for a year elsewhere or rented a
house of Ten pounds a year or upwards or served any Parish
office or paid any Poors Rates or Kings Taxes or done any act
to gain another Settlement That she hath a Daughter named
Susannah < no role > aged about eighteen years & half the lawful if one
of this Deponent by her said husband who has done no act
to gain to settlement for herself

that divers years ago She was hired & lived as a hired Servant by
the year at Certain Wages by and with one Mr Bristow of Epping
Forrest in the parish of wanstead in the County of Essex Engine
maker & Continued in Such Service for the Space of three years & by
means there of gained a legal Settlement there That She has
not Since lived as a hired Servant for a year else where nor has
She been ever married nor done any Act to gain anothr Settlemt.
That She has a child named George Hammond< no role > aged about three
years & eleven months born in the parish of Westham in the
County of Essex & also anothr child named Ann Hammond< no role > born
in the parish of St George in the county of Middx & aged about
fourteen months Both of which children are Bastard by reason
She this Depont was never married
