Cannot give any Account respects his Parents Settlement or
either of them That he this Depont was born in the liberty
above the Bars in the Parish of St Andrew Holborn in the
County of Middlesex & never was bound Apprentice nor ever
lived as a hired Servant for a year nor ever rented a house
of Ten pounds a year or upwards nor ever Served any
parish office or paid any poors Rates or kings Taxes
nor ever did any Act to gain a Settlemt in his own right

maketh oath that her Said Father who is Still living divers
years ago rented a house in Flushing yard in the Parish of St
Botolph without Aldgate in the Said County of the yearly Rent
of Fourteen pounds & was Charged to and paid Poors Rates for
the Same & by means thereof gained a legal Settlement there
That to this Deponents knowledge or belief her Said Father
has not Since rented a house of Ten pounds a year or upwards
or Served any parish office or paid any Poors Rates or kings
Taxes or done any Act to gain a Settlement elsewhere.
