Continued Thursday 29th. Novr. 1787

Holden at the same Hospital 3d. of July 1674 Mr. Hosie
produced Two Plans concerning the new House intended to
be Build between Moorgate and the Postern next London
Wall where there was Ground enough for 120 Rooms for
Lunatics and Officers being about 420 feet long where upon
he was Ordered to make a Model thereof in paste Board
and to bring the same with the Estimate of the Charge of the
same Building to the Court to be holden that day senight
That at another Court holden at the same Hospital 9th.
October 1674 the said Sir William Turner< no role > delivered a Lease
under the City Seal dated the 6th. same October and made
Between the Mayor and Commonally and Citizens of the
City of London of the one part and the said Six William
Turner

Benjamin Ducaine< no role > Esquire Treasurer Sir William Belton< no role >
Knight Sir William Warren< no role > Knight Sir Thomas Player< no role >
Knight and 22 others Governors of the said Hospital of
Bethlem of the other part of the Tofts and parcels of Land
on the O forth side of London Wall in the parish of Saint
Stephens Coleman Street in London extending from Moorgate to
the Postern near the end of Winchester Street and in Length
from East to West 740 feet of assign and in Breath from the
said Wall Northwards 80 feet of Assize for 999 Years from
Michaelmas then last to build thereon a new Hospital House
capable to receive 120 Lunatics and Officers and Servants to
attend them and for no other use at twelve pence Yearly Rent
payable at Guild hall at Michaelmas yearly which the Court
thankfully accepted and gave the said Sir William Turner< no role >
great thanks for effecting the Business and desired him to return
their thanks to the Common Council for the same and the
Counter part thereof being Sealed by the Lessees was left to be
kept in the Chamberlains Office where upon a Committee was
Chosen for carrying on the Building of the said Hospital
House and Mr. Treasurer Ducaine, Sir William Bolton< no role > Sir
Thomas Player< no role > Sir William Warren< no role > Knights and 22 others
(Governors (among whom were 4 Deputies) or any 5 of them
were nominated on such Committee That the said Committee
