House in the County of Middlesex Esquire and Mr. Peter Martin< no role >
of Ely Place Holborn were unanimously Elected Governors
of these Hospitals and it is Ordered that Staves be sent
them forth with.

This Committee having taken into consideration the advanced
Age of Dr . John Monro< no role > the Worthy Physician of this
Hospital his declining state of Health and the consequent
Faligue he must under go in the necessary attendance at this
Hospital Do recomend it to the General Court to appoint an
Assistant Physician And this Committee having had frequent
Opportunities of observing the care assiduity and abilities of
his Son Dr . Thomas Monro< no role > in his Constant attendance upon
this Committee and the patients of this Hospital during his
Fathers Ilness take the liberty of recomending him to the.
General Court to be appointed assistant to his Father during
pleasure This Court having duly weighed and considered
the said Recomendation Doth Order that the said Dr. Thomas
Momo be appointed assistant to his Father during pleasure.
