Assisted by the Physical Officer of these Hospitals

General Rules

That when any thing is Proposed which would Cost the Charity
three Hundred Pounds the same shall not be Undertaken unless
Approved by two General Courts and by two thirds of the governors
Present at each.

The Present Election day falling at a time of Year when many
governors are out of Town That (after this Year) the Quarterly Court on
April be Election DayThe Stewards Feast to be continued at the
usual time.

That a List of all Benefactors governors Committees Officers
Servant's Arts Master Apprentices & so forth belonging to the sd Hospital
together with their respective Benefactions Duties Frandes Salaries
Perquisites and other Emoluments be made out under the direction of
the Committee of Inspection and when approved by a General Court that
1000 Copies be Printed and one give to each Governor.

That these Regulations and such others as are now in force relating
to either of these Hospitals be collected under the direction of the Committee
of Inspection and when approved by a General Court that 1000
Copies be Printed and one given to each Governor.

That Extracts from these Regulations be made under the
direction of the Committee of Inspection and Printed in the Publick
Papers and that all Persons Inclined to contribute to these Charities
be referred for further Information to the Bethlem Committee and the
Clerks Office

That no Box Money be allowed to the Servants after the Present
half Year but that the same be Applied to the Use of the Charity

That no Money be allowed for Mince Pies of Plumb Porridge
nor for any Dinners except the Sum of £20 for a Dinner on
Easter Monday the like sum for a Dinner on Easter Thursday and
the like Sum of a Dinner on St. Matthews Day the usual Dinner
for the Boys on Easter Monday and Tuesday and on the Election
Day and the usual allowance to the Officer Servants and
Artsmasters vizt.
