Whereas at a Court holden the 11th. of December last Mr. President
and Mr.
Treasurer were desired to send

North Carolina
at the request of his father & by his own over at & that said Charges as
the President
& Treasurer should think necessary should to paid by the Steward
And Whereas Mr. President
acquainted the Court holden the 28th. of July last
that no Ship had
[..] for house Carolins since December & that the said Charles Grove
father who is a Writing Master & Treasurer of London is in hopes of bringing
his Son into business here if the Court could order that the money intended
for his Voyage might be laid out in Cloaths & that he might be turned
over to his father It was then Ordered that the Steward should pay for
such Clothing as Mr. President
should direct for the said Charles Groves &
that he should be turned over to his father Now at this Court It is
Ordered that upon the said
Charles Groves< no role >
being regularly turned over
to his father to serve the remainder of his Apprenticeship whereby the
Hospital may be discharged of him the Steward do pay Ten Pounds to the
said
Charles Groves< no role >
father.
