Setting forth That he Served his apprenticeship

one of the Artsmasters
of this hospital and worke for him
most part of the time Since as a Journeyman
and looked after
his apprentices and so well discharged himselfe that the said

(who at this Court Surrendred his place of artsmar

proposed to Creditt the Petr. with his Stock in Trade and to
Supply him with money to carry on ye same and to maintaine his
apprentices and to become his Security for Complying with the
Orders relateing to artsmar

Setting forth That he had been one of the artsmar
s. many years
and brought up Several apprentices and was never under the Governors.
displeasure till lately he had unawares permitted one of his
apprentices to go out of the hospital contrary to an Order of Court
That he did it not in willfull contempt of the Order but through
inadvertency and was heartily Sorry for his offence and humbly beg'd
pardon for the same promiseing he would never

of the Court agou And praying that the order for expelling him
out of the hospital may be discharged and that he may be restored
to his place of artsmar. It is Ordered That it be Referred
to the Comee of this house of examine into the Allegations of the sd
Petition and Report to this Court what they think proper to be
done therein
