Beadles of Bridwell
gratuity for ½ yr.}


Also Upon reading the humble Petition of the four
Beadles and Porters man of the Hospital of Bridewell for their
usual gratuityes of Forty Shillings a peice in respect of the
halfe year Ending at Lady Day last for that their Court that Mr
Treasurer Cass be desired to give and pay unto them forty
Shillings a peice to be allowed him in his next account

or Baskett men of the Hospital of Bethlem for their usual
gratuityes of twenty Shillings a peice in respect of the halfe
yeare ending at Lady Day last Itt is Ordered That
Mr Treasurer Cass be desired to give and pay unto them
twenty Shillings a peice as usual to be allowed him in
his next account

Also at this Court Severall of the Officers & Inhabitants
of Cheapward Complained that on Saturday the 26th. day of
Augt. last betweene so & 11 of the Clock at night about thirty
boyes in the Clothing of this Hospital made a tumult and
ComittedServallvery great disorders in Cheapside and the
Poultrey and knockt downe severall persons that were
Passangers in the street Whereupon all the Apprentices
in this Hospital were sent for up to the Court and upon a
Examination it appeared that the ten boyes following were
runn away from their Masters and had not been heard of
