And First the said
William Brown< no role >

saith, that this day about half past eleven O'Clock, a
Boy came into the Compting Hosue of his Master
and asked him if he had lost a Hamper
Says, that the Boy telling him there was a Man
taken up for stealing a Hamper, he Informant
went to see whether it was the same belonging
to his MasterSays, that he went where the
Prisoner

was in Custody of several Persons, and
charged with stealing the hamper and bottles now
produced, which Hamper in particular, Informant
knows to belong to his Master, and the same
which stood in the Hall.
And the said William Brown< no role >

himself Saith, that an Alarm being given, he
Followed and apprehended the Prisoner with
the Hamper and Bottles upon his back
