Indicted for assaulting George
Trussell.

William Morgan< no role > Servant to Messrs Bennet's & Cure of Tenchurch Street
London Grocers the Defendant in this Cause maketh Oath and saith that
some, time ago an Indictment was preferred against this Deponent by one
George Trussell< no role > for assaulting him to which Indictment this Deponent afterwards
appeared and pleaded Not Guilty And this Deponent saith that the said George
Trussell was an entire stranger to this Deponent and never did inform this
Deponent or any of this Deponents Friends or Acquaintance of his the said George
Trussell place of Abode by which means this Deponent hath not been able to
serve the said George Trussell< no role > with any Notice of Trial in this Cause And
this Deponent saith that having received Information that the said George
Trussell used, and was known at, the Salopian Coffee House near Charing Cross
and at the Union Coffee House near Saint James's Church in Piccadilly he
this Deponent on the third and to fourth Day of January last made diligent Enquiry for the
said George Trussell of the Waiters at the said Coffee Houses in order to serve
the said George Trussell< no role > with the Notice of Trial hereunto annexed And this
Deponent was informed by the said Waiters that no such person as the said
George Trussell< no role > to their Knowledge used the said Coffee Houses And this Deponent
saith that he hath not since been able to find out the place of Abode of the said
George Trussell< no role > or where he is to be met with though this Deponent hath made
the utmost Enquiry he can for that purpose in order to serve him with the said
Notice of Trial.
