Mr: Halse (one of the Governors of these Hosplls.) and
Mr. Joseph Chamber< no role > (Execrs: of the last will and Testament of Mr.
John Land< no role > This name instance is in a workspace. lately deced) Accquainted this Court That the sd. Mr:
Land had left a Legacy of One hundred pounds to the Hospll.
of Bethlem to be laid out in the purchase of lands of Inheritance
for the use of the sd. Hospll. And that he had left the Residue of
his Estate (after Legacies paid) to the Hospll. at Bridewell
And That they found by the sd. Mr. Lands papers That he was
Intituled to a Yearly rent or payment of £57: p ann payable
by one John Good child< no role > and which was Secured by a Terme of
yeares in Eighteene Houses near the Horseferry at Westmr
Of which Terme there are Eight yeares and an halfe to come
and that they doe not find any part of the sd. Rent had been
paid for many Yeares Soe that whatever is due or behind on
that Account or can be Recovered for the time to come will
belong to the sd. Hospll. of Bridewell by vertue of the Residuary
Devise aforesaid It is Ordered That the Clerke of
these Hospll. doe Informe himselfe touching the prmisses. and
give an Account thereof to the next Court And Capt. Phillipps
and Mr. Rouse (Two of the Governors of these Hosplls. are
Desired to be Assisting therein as there shall be Occasion

Also Mrs: Frances Loveday< no role > (Tenant of the Rectory of North Reig
in the County of Oxon) Appearing att this Court in psurance of
her Petition formerly delivered was told That if she will made
her proposall to this Court in writing as to the Number of
yeares she Desires and the Fine she thinks fitt to offer in
respect thereof This Court will take the same into Consideracon
which method she promised to comply wth. by the next Court
