Also Upon the humble Petition of Sarah Brooks< no role > widow For some
mitigation of the weekly payment of Five Shillings for the keeping
of Anthony Brooks< no role > her Son a Poore Lunatick in Bethlem hospll. there
he has been maintained by the Peticonr. above Six months He haveing
nothing of his owne to Assist towards the said charge And the Peticonr
being Seaventy foure yeares of age and almost past her Labor
tho' She has nothing but what She Earnes thereby & what She receives
from the Charity of her friends & Relations where wth. to maintaine her
selfe & her Said Son Therefore is altogether unable to continue the sd
weekly charge This Court being Satisfyed of the trueth of the matter
of the sd. peticon Doe Order That Security being Given to pay Two
Shillings a week for the keeping the sd. Anth: Brooks< no role > for the future That
then the same shall be reced & the Bond for paymt. of Five Shillings
a week be Delivered up to be cancelled

Also Upon the Humble peticonr of Joseph Hodson< no role > Citizen & Weaver
of London who was brought up an apprentice wth: Francis Browne< no role >
weaver one of the Artsmrs. of the hospll. of Bridewell and Since
made a Freeman of this Citty by the Approbocon of this Court
and who is sett up for himselfe in the trade of a weaver (as he
alleadgeth) at the house of Mr: Tiffany next doore to the Canterbury
Alehouse in Phenix Street in Spittle Fields For Some part of Mr:
Locks Gift the better to Enable him to carry on and manage his
sd. trade Itt is Ordered by this Court That Collll. Sharpe Andrew
Willaw

be desired to make Enquiry of the said Joseph Hodson< no role > whether he be
See Sett up in his said Trade and of his hopefullness therein & to make
Report thereof to the next Court

Bridewell hospll: & since made a Freeman of this Citty by the
approbaconr of this Court Hath taken a house and is Sett up for
himselfe and hath the Character of an Industrious hopefull
Young man Itt is Ordered by this Court That Mr: Trear Doe
Give and pay unto him tenn pounds of the profitts of Mr. Locks
Gift the better to Enable him to carry on his Sd. Trade To be allowed
Mr: Trear in his next Acct:
