Examination TextDorothy Whitehead aged 26 years and upwards in the workhouse of and in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields upon her oath saith that she never was married bound apprentice kept house rented a tenement of 10 pounds by the year paid any parish taxes or was a yearly hired servant in any one place for 12 months together, that she was born in Windmill Street in the Parish of St. James Westminster and that her father John Whitehead lived in and rented an house in Chequer Court Charing Cross in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields, known by the sign of the Coach and Horses for the space of two years and upwards at the yearly rent of 10 pounds and upwards, quitted the same about 19 years ago and never kept house rented a tenement of 10 pounds by the year paid any parish taxes since. Sworn the second of January 1749 before Daniel Gach.
