Examination Text | Elizabeth Watson aged 28 years and upwards in the workhouse of and in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields upon her oath saith that she never was married bound an apprentice kept house rented a tenement of 10 pounds by the year or paid any parish taxes, but that she was a yearly hired servant to Mr Drybutter an Attorney who lodged at Mr Crispin's a Pastry Cook in Russell Court in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields for the space of two years and a half at the yearly wages of 2 pounds 10 shillings diet and lodging, quitted the same about 11 years ago and hath not been a yearly hired servant in any one place 12 months together since. Sworn the seventh Day of February 1750 before James Fraser. |
