Examination TextElizabeth Ottaway aged 21 years in the workhouse of and in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields upon her oath saith that she never was married, that she was bound an apprentice (by the officers of the Parish of Richmond in the County of Surry) by an indenture for five years to Barnard Dulader of Gold and Silver Button Maker in Mays Buildings in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields aforesaid and there served some time, but how long this Examinant cannot remember, and then her Master removed into Bedford Court in the Parish of St. Paul Covent Garden and this Examinant along with him and a continued with her Master some time, and then her Master removed into Castle Court in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields aforesaid and there served about six months, all the aforesaid term out which expired last October, as she never kept house rented a tenement of 10 pounds by the year or paid any parish taxes since. Taken in the workhouse the 31st Day of January 1752.
