Examination TextCatherine Bonner aged 84 years in the workhouse of and in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields upon her oath saith that she is the widow of Michael [sic] (who died the second Day of June 1752) to whom she was married after the manner of the Church of Rome 50 years ago, that he was as Spatterdash Maker by trade and lived and rented an house in Dirty Lane in Long Acre in the said Parish of St Martin in the Fields for the space of 20 years at the yearly rent of 15 pounds besides taxes, quitted the same [blank] years ago, that he never kept house rented 10 pounds by the year or paid any parish taxes since, nor hath she this Examinant nor hath been a yearly hired servant since he her said husband's death. Taken the workhouse the 18th Day of February 1754.
