Examination TextElizabeth Life aged about 38 years destitute of lodging upon her oath saith that she never was married, that she was a yearly hired servant to Mr Baxter at the Black Boy and Harrow near opposite to Cecil Court in St Martin's Lane in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields for the space of one year and upwards at the yearly wages of 5 pounds and 10 shillings diet and lodging, quitted the same six years ago, that she never kept house rented 10 pounds by the year paid any parish taxes nor been a yearly hired servant in any one place for 12 months together since. Sworn the 15th Day of February 1754 before Benjamin Cox.
