Examination TextJohn Boyle aged 41 years and upwards in the workhouse of and in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields passed from the Parish of St Leonard Shoreditch in the County of Middlesex upon his oath saith that he is a Peruke Maker by trade and was a yearly hired servant to Rice Hughes a Peruke Maker in Bull Inn Court in the said Parish of St Martin in the Fields for the space of three years and upwards at the yearly wages of 9 pounds 10 shillings and 11 shillings diet and lodging [sic], quitted the same about 18 years ago, that he never kept house rented a tenement of 10 pounds by the year paid any parish taxes nor hath been a yearly hired servant in any one place for 12 months together since, that he was married to Sarah his late wife deceased at the ffleet 12 years ago by whom he hath one child living to wit Charles aged one year and an half now with this Examinant.
