Examination TextMary Bradshaw aged 63 years in the workhouse of and in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields upon her oath saith she is the widow of William Bradshaw (who died two years ago) to whom she was married at the Fleet 18 years [ago], that he was a Tallow Chandler by trade and lived in and rented an house in New Street in the said Parish of St Martin in the Fields for the space of two years, but what rent he paid she cannot remember, but there died, that she hath not kept house rented 10 pounds by the year paid any parish taxes nor been a yearly hired servant since the death of her said husband. Taken in the workhouse the 31st Day of August 1756.
