Examination TextMary Omiach aged 44 years lodging in Burleigh Court in Burleigh Street in the Strand in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields upon her oath saith that she never was married bound an apprentice kept house rented a tenement of 10 pounds by the year paid any parish taxes nor was a yearly hired servant in any one place for 12 months together, that her father Oliver Omiach was a Barber Surgeon and lived in and rented an house in Long Acre near Dirty Lane in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields aforesaid for the space of 15 years at the yearly rent of 20 pounds besides taxes, quitted the same near 40 years ago and then went to France and never rented 10 pounds by the year nor paid any parish taxes afterwards. Sworn the 10th day of June 1758 before Thomas Kynaston.
