| Examination Text | Joseph Wilmot aged 68 years in the workhouse of and in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields upon his oath saith that he is a Staymaker by trade and lived in and rented an house in Eagle Court in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields aforesaid for the space of eight years at the yearly rent of 13 pounds besides taxes, quitted the same 18 years ago, that he never kept house rented a tenement of 10 pounds by the year nor paid any parish taxes since. Sworn the eighth day of May 1758 before Benjamin Cox. |
