| Examination Text | Ann Horrell aged 62 years in the workhouse of and in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields upon her oath saith that she is the widow of Joseph Horrell (who died seven weeks ago), that he lived in and rented an house in Oxendon Street in the Parish aforesaid for the space of two years at the yearly rent of 28 pounds besides taxes, quitted the same seven years ago, that he never kept house rented 10 pounds by the year nor paid any parish taxes afterwards. Taken in the workhouse the 17th Day of April 1758. |
