Examination TextMary Alltrap aged about 20 years in the Workhouse of and in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields on her Oath saith that she never was Married that she was bound and Apprentice ( by the Trustees of St Martin'sCharity School ) by and Indenture bearing date the Eleventh Day of November in the Year One thousand Seven Hundred and Seventy Nine to John Forbes of Charles Street Covent Garden which House the said John Forbes lived in was and is in the Parish of St Mary Le Strand within the Liberty of Westminster in the County of Middlesex and deal served her said Master for the space of Be Months and then was Discharged by the Magistrates of St Martins Parish , that she never Kept House rented a tenement of ten Pounds by the year paid any Parish taxes nor has been a yearly hired Servant in any one Place for twelve Months together since.
