Examination Text | Robert Neale aged 80 years in the workhouse of and in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields passed from the Parish of St. George in the County of Middlesex upon his oath saith that he was bound an apprentice by an indenture for seven years to Mr Elliott a Smith opposite Salisbury Street in the Strand in the said Parish of St Martin in the Fields and there served all his time out which expired about 60 years ago, that this Examinant never kept house rented a tenement of 10 pounds by the year paid any parish taxes nor was a yearly hired servant since. Sworn the 25th day of August 1763 before Benjamin Cox. |
