| Examination Text | Elizabeth Dove aged 30 years lodging at Mrs Dermot's in Crown Court in that part of Russell Street which is in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields upon her oath saith that she this Examinant never was married, that she was a yearly hired servant to Mrs Dermot aforesaid in Eagle Court in the Parish aforesaid for the space of two years at the yearly wages of 3 pounds diet and lodging, quitted the same about six months ago, that she never kept house rented a tenement of 10 pounds by the year nor paid any parish taxes since. Sworn the 19th Day of April 1762 before Benjamin Cox. |
