Examination TextThe Examination of Frances Falconer wife of James Falconer lodging at Mr Goodacres a Schoolmaster in Brewers Street by Golden Square taken upon oath this 13th Day of March 1762. This Examinant on her oath saith that she very well knows Frances Coin (an infant aged about nine years passed from the Parish of St Margaret within the liberty of Westminster to the Parish of St Martin in the Fields in the said liberty) to be the lawful issue of Henry Coin by Sarah his wife (both deceased), that the said Henry Coin was a Hair Merchant and lived in and rented an house in Northumberland Court in the Strand in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields aforesaid for the space of nine years at the yearly rent of 20 pounds besides taxes and there died. Sworn the day and year abovesaid before Thomas Kynaston.
