Examination Text | Elizabeth Catenach aged 25 years and upwards destitute of lodging upon her oath saith that she never was married bound an apprentice kept house rented a tenement of 10 pounds by the year paid any parish taxes nor hath been a yearly hired servant in any one place for 12 months together, that her Father Duncan Catenach (who died about 18 years ago) was a Shaggreen Case Maker and lived in and rented an house near Hunts Court in St Martin's Lane in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields for the space of two years at the yearly rent of 10 pounds and upwards, besides taxes and there died. Sworn the fifth day of February 1760 before Benjamin Cox. |
