Examination TextIsaac Turmeau aged 30 years in the workhouse of and in the Parish St Martin in the Fields passed from the parish St Luke in the County of Middlesex upon his oath saith that he was bound an apprentice to Mr John Macadam a Watchmaker in Vine Street in the said Parish of St Martin in the Fields and there served his said Master the term of seven years, the full term of the indenture of apprenticeship, which expired about nine years ago, that he never kept house rented a tenement of 10 pounds by the year paid any parish taxes nor hath been a yearly hired servant in any one place for 12 months together since the expiration of his said apprenticeship, that he was married to the wife Esther at the Parish Church of St Giles in the Fields in the County of Middlesex in the month of October which is in the year 1761, by whom he hath three children to wit Mary Ann aged about seven years, George aged about five years, and Ann Margaret aged about two years all now with this Examinant. Sworn the second Day of April 1768 before Peter Planck.
