Examination TextMary Bundy aged 77 years in the workhouse of and in the Parish St Martin in the Fields upon her oath saith that she is the widow of Francis Bundy (who died about four years ago) to whom she was married at the Parish Church of Wansworth in the County of Surry about 20 years ago, that her said husband was a Silk Dyer by trade and lived in and rented an house in that part of Coventry Street which is in the Parish aforesaid for the space of 40 years at the yearly rent of 30 pounds besides taxes, that he never kept house rented a separate tenement nor paid any Parliamentary or Parochial taxes after he quitted the aforesaid house nor hath she this Examinant nor been a yearly hired servant since the death of her said husband. Taken in the workhouse the ninth day of May 1766.
