Examination Text | Mary Tissier aged 32 years passed from the Parish of St Giles in the Fields in the County of Middlesex to the Parish of St Martin in the Fields upon her oath saith that she is the widow of Francis Tissier (who died about two months ago) to whom she was married at the Parish Church of St Anne Soho the 10th day of November 1766, that her said husband hath informed this Examinant that he lived served seven years apprenticeship to Mr Benoit a Taylor in Orange Street and St Martin's Street in the said Parish of St Martin in the Fields, that her husband never kept house rented a tenement of 10 pounds by the year paid any parish taxes nor was a yearly hired servant in any one place for 12 months together after the expiration of his said apprenticeship to this Examinant's knowledge, that she hath one child by her said husband to wit Francss aged two years and an half now with this Examinant. Sworn the 10th day of October 1770 before Peter Planck. |
