| Examination Text | Elizabeth Hippard aged 16 years in the workhouse of and in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields passed from the Parish of St Giles in the Fields upon her oath saith that she never was married, that she was bound an apprentice by an indenture for seven years to Mrs Saunders in Charles Court in the Strand in the said Parish of St Martin in the Fields, and there served her said mistress about three years and then quitted her said mistress's service by mutual consent, which is about three years ago, that she hath not been a yearly hired servant in any one place for 12 months together since. Taken in the workhouse the 19th Day of June 1770. |
