| Examination Text | John Burdo aged 26 years in the workhouse of and in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields passed from the Parish of St Anne within the liberty of Westminster upon his oath saith that he never was bound an apprentice, that he was a yearly hired servant to Mr Dossie for the space of three years and an half, the last year of which said service was in Salisbury Street in the said Parish of St Martin in the Fields at the yearly wages of 10 pounds diet and lodging, quitted the same in July last, that he hath not kept house rented a tenement of 10 pounds by the year nor paid any parish taxes since. Taken in the workhouse the 19th Day of June 1770. |
