Examination TextGeorge Jackson aged [blank] years in the workhouse of and in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields upon his oath saith that he never was bound an apprentice kept house rented a tenement of 10 pounds by the year paid any parish taxes nor was a yearly hired servant in any one place for 12 months together, that his Father Ephraim Jackson was a Victualler and lived in and rented an house known by the sign of the Blue Bell in Charles Court in the Strand in the Parish aforesaid, but how long he kept the said house or what rent he paid for the same he this Examinant cannot tell, but that his father died in the occupation of the said house. Taken in the workhouse the 24th Day of June 1771.
