| Examination Text | Peter Churchill aged about 58 years in the workhouse of and in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields passed from the Parish of St. James at Clerkenwell in the County of Middlesex upon his oath saith that he lived in and rented an house in Whitcombe Court in the said Parish of St Martin in the Fields for the space of three years at the yearly rent of 10 pounds and paid the Kings Tax for the said house, quitted the same about 26 years ago, that he hath not kept house rented a tenement of 10 pounds by the year paid any parish taxes nor been a yearly hired servant in any one place for 12 months together since, that he was married to his present wife Alice at the Parish Church of St. Paul Shadwell about 12 years ago.
